How to use each of your host settings related to projects

Your host account has a few project settings that are valid to all of your properties. In this article you will learn what each of them does.

Note: If you are a co-host you might not have permission to manage property settings on your account due to your main host's settings.

Overview

Project settings help you manage automate a few things related to projects. You can set up auto assign projects, or require mandatory checklist completion, for example.

Direct Assign/Auto Assign

Enabling direct assign and auto assign allows you to use these features to assign teammates from your end, and to set up a teammate to be automatically assigned to your projects.

Show projects automatically to all backup cleaners

This setting allows you to automatically open up projects to your back up teammates without waiting for your primary teammates to reject the projects. Toggle it to enable/disable.

You can choose how long before a project you want it to open automatically, from 1 day to 10 days before its start time.


Accept requests to remove teammates from projects automatically

Teammates can click to "Ask to be removed" from a project to send you a notification to remove them. With this setting on, you can allow teammates to be automatically removed from a project when they click to ask to be removed, as long as it's before the time you set up on the setting.

You can set it to allow cleaners to remove themselves from projects at any time, or set a time limit before the project, from 1 day to 30 days before the date of the project.


When a booking is cancelled after the check-in time, keep the associated cleaning project

This setting allows you to keep a cleaning project when a booking gets canceled mid-stay. Toggle it to enable or disable.


Allow cleaners to add items to checklists

Enable this setting to let your teammates add items to your checklists.


Quality control

Enable this setting to add a verification to your projects for you or your co-hots to mark it as quality controlled after it is completed

Note: This setting is for record only. It does not affect whether payment will go through for the respective project.


Mandatory checklist completion

Toggle this setting to require your teammates to check off all items on your checklist before completing projects.

Custom project types

Enable this setting to be able to create more project types on your account.


Mandatory inventory completion

This setting allows you to require that your teammates fill out your inventory on your projects before completing projects.
