Turno host accounts have a feature called Direct Assign which allows hosts to manually assign teammates to projects. As a cleaner, you can choose if you want to allow this for each one of your customers.

How Direct Assign works

When hosts enable Direct Assign, it is enabled on your side by default as well, and you get notified that you have a new assignment from the customer when they add you to a project.

This feature does not prevent you from being able to accept projects yourself, but it does skip the step where you accept a project. So, if you'd rather not be directly assigned to projects, you can switch this off on your side on your Customers page (this action can only be performed on the website version of the platform).

(You must be logged in to your cleaner account on the website for the button above to work)

On this page, you will see a card for each customer you are currently connected with. This is where you can see information about your connection with them.

You can see the option on their card that allows you to enable or disable direct assignments on your side. If you disable it, that customer will not be able to manually assign projects to you from their end.

A switch button indicates that the customer is allowed to directly assign projects to you:

Click the switch button to disable the option. It will look like this:

Now the next time this customer goes to add you to a project, your name will be grayed out and they won't be able to. This is useful to give you more control over your schedule.
