When you apply to join Turno's marketplace, you are required to add a short bio to your profile. This is important for both Turno to review your application and for your potential customers. Potential customers will be able to see your profile after your application is approved when you place bids on their offers.

A few ideas on what to include when writing a bio: ✍️

  • Experience: Share how long you’ve been cleaning and the types of jobs you’ve handled. For example, mention that you’ve cleaned vacation rentals and the cleaning services you are able to offer them.

  • Effective Communication: Highlight your communication skills. Explain how you interact with customers, address their needs, and keep them informed throughout the process.

  • Attention to Details: Emphasize your meticulous approach. Describe how you pay close attention to every corner, ensuring cleanliness and quality.

  • Reliability: Assure customers of your dependability. Mention your punctuality, consistency, and commitment to meeting deadlines.

  • Going the Extra Mile: Share any special steps you take to exceed expectations. Whether it’s personalized touches, eco-friendly practices, or proactive problem-solving, let customers know how you go above and beyond.

  • Use your own words: Remember, original content is essential—avoid copying bios from the Internet.

⚠️ After you're accepted into Turno's marketplace, it's possible to edit your marketplace bio on your Marketplace Profile page, under the Update Profile option:

You'll be taken to the Profile tab of your Account Settings, where you'll be able to edit your bio and request the changes:

The new bio will be reviewed by our team, and if everything is in order, it will be approved and shown on your profile!

Remember not to include personal information (such as your business name, email, phone number, or location) in your bio. Share this information with customers only after your bid is accepted. Providing it beforehand breaks our rules and might affect your access to the marketplace.
