In case your marketplace application has been approved and you still can't bid on searches for cleaners nearby, it's likely you haven't completed all of your Account Setup steps. This guide will help you complete all of them.

The Marketplace Application 🔎

Turno is a scheduling tool that also provides a Marketplace for cleaners and hosts to meet and connect. As a cleaner, you can apply to join the Turno Marketplace to find new customers.

For more information on the application process itself, refer to the following articles:

Once your application is approved, you'll move on to the Account Setup steps.

What are the Account Setup steps for marketplace cleaners? 🔎

These steps are requirements to activate your profile in the Turno marketplace. There are a total of 5 steps on your Account Setup page (this link works when you're logged in to your cleaner account), or the Marketplace screen in your cleaner app.

They include Log in to the Mobile App, Agree to Terms & Conditions, Set Up a Payout Account, Background Check, and Schedule a Welcome Call.

You will only be able to post bids to offers near you after completing all steps.

Logging in to the Mobile App 📌

This step requires you to log in to the app if you haven't already. You can download the app on the links below:

Logging in once will fulfill the requirement, and you don't have to be continuously logged in to the app to use the Marketplace, but we recommend you use the Turno mobile app on your phone to keep up to date with your marketplace offers and cleaning schedule.

Agreeing to Terms & Conditions 📌

Here, you'll be asked to carefully review and accept Turno's Marketplace terms. Before moving on to the next step, it's required that you read and agree to all the terms and conditions associated with using the Turno Marketplace.

Setting Up a Payout Account 📌

This step includes linking a Stripe account. Customers you meet through our marketplace can only pay you through Turno, and at the moment we only process payments through Stripe, so linking a Stripe account is necessary. In case your Stripe account stops working or you unlink it from your Turno account, you will lose access to the marketplace.

Background Check (US cleaners only) 📌

Cleaners located in the United States of America have the Background Check step next, since it is mandatory in all US states. When you reach this point, you'll be required to apply, pay for the Background Check, and provide all required information in the email you'll receive from Accurate Background.

Click on the article below for more information on Background Checks. ☑️

Scheduling a Welcome Call (US, Canadian, & European cleaners) 📌

Completion of this step is mandatory for cleaners in the US, Canada, and Europe. The welcome call is essentially a phone meeting, where an account manager will provide an introduction to how the Turno Marketplace works.

Please keep in mind, we will not call you - when it's time for your welcome call, join using the phone number and PIN provided in the email you received when you scheduled your call or on the text reminder you'll receive from your Account Manager.

Click on the article below for more information on Welcome Calls. ☑️

What happens after I complete all steps? 🔎

All set up? Great! Now you can jump in and start bidding on cleaning jobs. If a customer picks your bid, you'll become part of their cleaning team. They can then share projects with you whenever they need a cleaning hand, and you can choose which ones you want to take on.
