A Welcome Call is one of the last steps to join the Turno marketplace where you will learn the basics of taking on projects and completing them.

📅 Scheduling your Welcome Call

To schedule your Welcome Call, access the "Account Setup" section of Turno - it shows as the very last step of the application process. Click on it to see a calendar of available times to have your call.

Once you schedule, you should receive an e-mail with the details of your call.

⚠️ Attention cleaners outside the US ⚠️

If you are located outside the US, a link will be provided so you can access the call via Google Meet.

📲 Joining your Welcome Call

The welcome call is not a regular phone call that you will be receiving on your phone. It is a group call, so to join, call the number and provide the PIN you received (or follow the link you received if you are outside the US).

You'll get a reminder 15-30 minutes before your welcome call. It will have the information you need to join your call too.

Tips to have a good welcome call 🤝

  • ✅ Finish all other steps:

This last stage of the application process is composed of multiple steps. Make sure to complete everything else so you can take what you learn on your Welcome Call and use it on Turno's Marketplace right away.

  • 🏫 Find a good place:

All information exchanged during the Welcome Call is valuable. You might need to answer questions or ask your own. We suggest finding a quiet place for the call so everyone can understand everything better.

  • 🕑 Be on time:

The welcome call is for a small group of 3-4 cleaners. It's important for everyone to join on time so they don't miss out on anything. If you're late, you might not be able to join the call at all.

  • 📱 Have Turno ready to go:

During the welcome call, you'll try out the Turno cleaner app with a practice job. It's like a walk-through of finding a cleaning offer, placing a bid, and marking the job as done.

You must finish this task for your Welcome Call to count as done. Make sure your app is ready to avoid needing another call.

❓I just completed my Welcome Call, what's next?

If you followed every step, you should be able to start interacting with new potential customers on the Turno marketplace. For a refresher about what you saw on the call, check the video below:
