You sent a bid to a potential customer in your area. After that, your bid got accepted, but you don't see any cleaning projects on your schedule yet: what now? We will explain everything you need to know about your next steps here.
💭 My bid just got accepted. What now?
A common misconception about Turno marketplace offers is that they are cleaning projects, and when you're sending a bid, you're bidding on a single cleaning job, but that is not the case. An offer means that a host in your area is looking for new cleaners for one of their properties. On your side, you receive their search as a job offer and have the opportunity to bid on it to clean the property regularly, not for just one single date. Having your bid accepted means that you are now in the customer's team!
After a customer accepts your bid, you can see them on your My Customers page.
On their end, the customer can add you to their properties in order to send you projects to accept. To see the properties you're enabled on from any customer, click the Properties attribute on their card:
If you don't see any properties listed here, it means that the customer has not added you to any yet. In this case, we recommend you open a chat with the customer to communicate with them and let them know you would like to be added to their properties so you can start working with them.
Once you're enabled on a property, every time the customer has a new cleaning project available, a request will be sent to you, and you will have the option to accept or reject it. When you accept the request, you become assigned to the project, and it gets added to your Schedule, where you can see its details.
⚠️ Keep in mind that some customers choose to not make their projects visible to all cleaners, so project requests are sent according to the customer's needs. That said, you can always contact your customers to ask about projects.
💬 Chatting with your customer
Communication is key, and a great way to start a new connection with a customer is communicating on the chat page!
Now that you know how to proceed after having a bid accepted, you are ready to keep bidding on offers in your area with more confidence than ever! We wish you good luck with your future bids. ✨
