You have accepted a project request to clean a property, but you might be wondering how to complete it. Don't worry, we've got you covered! This article will walk you through completing a project step by step. 😉
📝 Once you receive a project request, you have the option to either accept or reject it. If you receive a project that you cannot do, it's important to reject the request so that your customer knows you won't be able to do that cleaning.
1️⃣ Finding the project
If the project is scheduled for today, you will see it on the home page of the mobile app, or under "Projects today" on web, so it should be easy to find. But if you're completing a project later than it's requested time, it might no longer be on the front page.
To find a past project on the mobile app, tap "Projects" at the bottom of the screen and find the date on the date selector on the top. If the project date is not this week, you may need to open the date selector to navigate to the correct date. This also works to find future projects.
2️⃣ Starting the project
When you accept a project request on Turno, you are assigned to it and it is added to your Schedule, where you can see its details such as date, time, and location. 🏡
Once it's time to start the project, open your Turno for Cleaners app, find the project on the "Projects" page and tap "Ready to start this project?"
⚠️ Remember to only start the project when you are sure you're ready to begin - the action of starting a project cannot be undone.
3️⃣ Adding information
After starting the project, you can perform a few actions, such as report a problem, leave a note of anything you'd like to communicate to the customer; and add cleaning images/photos.
If your customer has set up a Checklist and Inventory for you to fill out, you will also find them here.
⚠️ Please note, if you see a checklist with the "Mandatory" tag, you will only be able to complete the project after you check off all items on it.
4️⃣ Marking the project as complete
After you have finished the cleaning, click on "Complete Project". Confirm it by tapping on "Yes" and the project will be completed ✅
That's it! 🎉Now the project will show up as completed on both sides - for you on your cleaner app, and for your customer on their host app. If you are a marketplace cleaner, or if your customer is using automatic payments, completing the project will also trigger a payment 💲
➡️ If you have a non-marketplace connection with your clients (in other words, if you connected with your customer through an invite), make sure to check with them that they have enabled auto payments so that your payments can be made through Turno.
For marketplace connections (in other words, customers that accepted your bid), automatic payments are mandatory, so they come enabled by default.
